Humanising healthcare through branding and illustration
During our brand immersion process, we identified a common thread among private hospital websites: a tendency to feel clinical, corporate, and impersonal. We saw this as an opportunity to differentiate The Hamptons Hospital and position it as a more human, reassuring and patient-focused provider.
We took a human-centred approach to branding, aligning closely with the hospital’s values. We developed a soft, welcoming colour palette that stands in contrast to the cold, corporate tones typical in the healthcare sector. This was complemented by a bespoke suite of original illustrations, characterful, inclusive and engaging. Designed to reflect the hospital’s audiences and services.
The result is a distinctive, professional brand identity and a website that is easy to use and emotionally resonant. In addition to the website, we provided a full set of branded assets and usage guidelines to support the hospital’s communications team, used across digital and physical channels including social media, advertising and onsite promotional materials.
