The Hamptons Hospital is a brand-new, £15 million independent hospital in Peterborough, which officially opened in April 2025. Designed to deliver outstanding clinical care, the facility combines expert medical teams with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies in a purpose-built, modern environment.

Designing a website to build trust, communicate services and drive enquiries

As a specialist branding and website agency based in Manchester, Future were commissioned to create a compelling digital presence for The Hamptons Hospital. The goal was to design, build and maintain a website that clearly communicates the hospital’s services and facilities to a diverse audience.
 
The site needed to be clean, modern and intuitive, supporting clear navigation, accessible information and strong calls to action to encourage enquiries. It also had to establish a sense of trust and professionalism while feeling warm and approachable.

Approach

Humanising healthcare through branding and illustration

During our brand immersion process, we identified a common thread among private hospital websites: a tendency to feel clinical, corporate, and impersonal. We saw this as an opportunity to differentiate The Hamptons Hospital and position it as a more human, reassuring and patient-focused provider.

We took a human-centred approach to branding, aligning closely with the hospital’s values. We developed a soft, welcoming colour palette that stands in contrast to the cold, corporate tones typical in the healthcare sector. This was complemented by a bespoke suite of original illustrations, characterful, inclusive and engaging. Designed to reflect the hospital’s audiences and services.

 

The result is a distinctive, professional brand identity and a website that is easy to use and emotionally resonant. In addition to the website, we provided a full set of branded assets and usage guidelines to support the hospital’s communications team, used across digital and physical channels including social media, advertising and onsite promotional materials.
