One Stockport are a partnership organisation who aim to support local business, connect communities and promote health and wellbeing across the borough of Stockport, Greater Manchester.

In the wake of the pandemic and the escalating cost of living, local businesses were grappling with economic challenges that threatened their survival and growth. Recognising this, One Stockport entrusted Future with the mission of creating a compelling and cost-effective campaign to bolster local businesses and inspire residents to invest in their community.

Encouraging the public to support local business

Drawing inspiration from our prior success in crafting an economic recovery campaign for One Stockport, our goal was to sustain the momentum and encourage residents to ‘keep our brilliant businesses bouncing’. To enhance the campaign’s visibility, we engaged the renowned local actor, Will Mellor, known for his roles in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘Coronation Street’, and ‘Mr Bates vs The Post Office’.

The centrepiece of our communication strategy was a captivating campaign film featuring Will Mellor alongside a diverse array of local businesses, ranging from bakeries to dog groomers.
