A new development in the heart of Stockport

The Interchange is a modern build-to-rent development offering 196 one- and two-bedroom apartments, located in the heart of Stockport town centre. With its central location and contemporary design, it provides city-centre style living at a more affordable price, making it a great option for those seeking high-quality accommodation without the premium costs.

Establishing a cohesive visual identity across multiple touchpoints

Our challenge was to create a sleek, modern brand identity that reflected the local surroundings while being versatile enough to work throughout the building. This included designing signage, colour schemes, and artwork to provide a cohesive visual experience for both residents and visitors.

A brand rooted in Stockport’s local landscape

Drawing inspiration from Stockport’s iconic railway arches, located next to the development, we designed a distinctive logotype that became the foundation of the brand identity. We also created a detailed set of guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints, from signage to interior colour schemes and artwork.

A key feature of the design was a large-scale wall art installation in the building’s entrance foyer. This artwork was then broken down into smaller sections and displayed throughout the development. Resulting in a unified artistic narrative that reflected the local character and brought the space together.
