A long established association in the pharmaceutical sector

For over 60 years, BHBIA (British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association) has been an inspiring community for business insight professionals to share compelling ideas and conclusions. This allows to further enhance the key decisions made behind in elevating the UK healthcare system.

Through collaboration and connecting diverse, like-minded members, they promote the importance of compliance, insight generation and industry excellence. As a result their platform facilitates strong partnerships, thought leadership engagement, and opportunities for professional development.

Challenge

A new brand image to retain and grow membership

Recognised as a credible and dependable organisation, BHBIA required a new brand identity that reflected their future mission and ambitions. As a Manchester design agency, we understood the need to consider the diverse perspectives of various stakeholders, members, and organisations. Each with their own view of what BHBIA represented.

Our focus was to ensure the new brand essence was communicated clearly and consistently, creating adaptable collateral and templates that could be easily used on an ongoing basis by all involved.

Approach

A space for like-minded people to come together

To kick off the rebranding process, we, a Manchester design agency, facilitated immersive brand strategy workshops to identify BHBIA’s key challenges, goals, and the core characteristics that needed to be reflected. From these insights, we developed design concepts that blended a fresh, vibrant, and contemporary look with the professionalism BHBIA is known for.

The result is a new identity that symbolizes the collaboration of diverse organizations sharing experiences and growing together. The geometric shapes in the logo represent this unity, with the blue square symbolising BHBIA as a platform that brings together a wide range of expertise. This flexible design also adapts across BHBIA’s sub-brands, such as the annual BOBI Awards.

Launching the rebrand involved creating a comprehensive set of brand guidelines, engaging social media assets, animation to showcase the rebranding journey, and easy-to-use templates for documents like PowerPoint, along with a full icon library.
