A new development in the heart of Stockport
The Interchange is a 196-unit build-to-rent development featuring 1 and 2-bedroom apartments, situated in the vibrant heart of Stockport town centre. With its prime location and modern architecture, the development offers city-centre style living without the premium costs, making it an attractive option for residents seeking quality accommodation at an affordable price.
THE CHALLENGE
Establishing a cohesive visual identity across multiple touchpoints
Our challenge was to develop a sleek, contemporary brand identity that not only drew inspiration from the local surroundings but also had the versatility to be applied throughout the building. This included signage, colour schemes and artwork that could create a unified visual experience for residents and visitors alike.
OUR APPROACH
A brand rooted in Stockport’s local landscape
Inspired by Stockport’s iconic railway arches, located just next to the development, we crafted a distinctive logotype that became the cornerstone of the brand’s identity. This design was accompanied by a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints—from signage to interior colour schemes and artwork.
A standout element of the brand design was a large-scale wall art installation in the building’s entrance foyer. This artwork was then deconstructed into smaller sections, which were displayed throughout the development, creating a cohesive artistic narrative that unified the space and reflected the local character.
