Their innovative software solutions streamline workflows, enhance accessibility and boost the impact of libraries, benefiting institutions like Harvard University, University of Bristol, UCL, and the University of Queensland. By saving time and resources, they empower universities and students globally.
THE CHALLENGE
Creating a unified brand identity
Following a series of acquisitions, Technology from Sage needed a cohesive brand identity that brought together their new and existing products under one unified brand. The challenge was to integrate this growing portfolio while preserving a visual link to established products. Additionally, the rebrand had to emphasise their modern, person-centered approach, setting them apart from competitors focused solely on product features.
OUR APPROACH
Human-centered design meets modern, flexible branding
To set Technology from Sage apart, we focused on the people—the librarians, students, and faculty—who benefit from their technology, while subtly highlighting the structured organisation of information central to their services.
We developed a dynamic visual language that transcends traditional photography, utilising custom multimedia illustrations. These illustrations serve multiple purposes: they create a distinctive visual brand style, simplify complex messaging and can be animated or used as icons to highlight key benefits of the technology.
For the website, we created a responsive, accessible platform that delivers a seamless user experience. Clean, modern layouts paired with smooth, subtle animations evoke the quiet yet essential movements within a library—turning pages, stacking books, flipping through filing cabinets. This reinforces the brand’s connection to the library ecosystem, even in a digital space.
Ultimately, we designed a modern, intuitive product-focused website that aligns with Technology from Sage’s forward-thinking ethos, engaging users while remaining highly functional and accessible.
