BACKGROUND
SK Eight is a coffee shop with a difference. Run as part of Equity Housing Group, the coffee shop is a social enterprise that puts its profits back into the local community.

THE CHALLENGE
An existing brand for SK Eight had already been created, but we were approached by Equity Housing Group to develop on this further. As the coffee shop sits on the ground floor of Equity’s office premises in Cheadle, it wasn’t obvious that it was open to the general public.

OUR APPROACH
They wanted to create a fun and inviting atmosphere that welcomed people of all ages, with new signage, wall vinyls, menus and other printed collateral. We introduced lyrical puns, bold colours and illustrations, to create a relaxed visual language that carried across all materials, from the annual report to the food menus.
