BACKGROUND
BHBIA
For over 60 years, BHBIA (British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association) has been an inspiring community for business insight professionals to share compelling ideas and conclusions. This allows to further enhance the key decisions made behind in elevating the UK healthcare system.
Through collaboration and connecting diverse, like-minded members, they promote the importance of compliance, insight generation and industry excellence. As a result their platform facilitates strong partnerships, thought leadership engagement, and opportunities for professional development.
THE CHALLENGE
Established as a highly credible and dependable organisation, BHBIA required a new brand identity which reflected their future mission and ambitions. The rebrand needed to account for a range of stakeholders, members and organisations; all who had different viewpoints on what BHBIA meant to them.
Ultimately, it was important ensure that the new BHBIA brand essence was communicated consistently and effectively — creating collateral and templates which could be used easily on an ongoing basis.
OUR APPROACH
To start the rebranding process, immersive brand strategy workshops were organised to define key challenges, goals and characteristics of BHBIA that needed to be conveyed. Subsequently, design concepts were created that incorporated a fresh, vibrant and contemporary feel, yet still portrayed their high level of professionalism.
As a result, BHBIA’s new identity represents the coming together of different organisations to share experiences, learn and develop through the geometric shapes within the logo. In particular, the blue square symbolises the BHBIA platform that attracts this range of expertise; these shapes also allow for flexibility across multiple sub-brands within BHBIA such as the annual BOBI Awards.
Launching the new brand identity required a structured set of brand guidelines, engaging social media assets and post designs, an animation to depict the rebranding journey to members, and other easy-to-use document templates such as Powerpoint and a comprehensive icon library.
